As we all watched the scene replay over and over on newscasts around the nation, we realized what a horrible tragedy had just taken place. Loved ones and friends were lost in the viscous attacks against our great nation. We stood by helplessly and watched the replays as the firefighters and the police and just ordinary people like us tried to help the survivors. We Moms and Wives realized very quickly that our sons, daughters and husbands who were then stateside and overseas might now be called up to do there duty to their country. We had bonded together to become a group to support each other through the military time of our child or husband. But now we had to pull together for a very different reason.
