Prayer to St. Joseph
This prayer was found in the fiftieth year of the Lord and Saviour Jesus
Christ. In 1505 it was sent from the Pope to Emperor Charles, as he was
going into battle. Whoever shall read this prayer or hear it, or keep it
about themselves shall never die a sudden death, or be drowned, nor shall
poisen take effect on them, neither shall they fall into the hand of the
enemy, or shall be burned in any fire or shall be overpowered in battle. -
Say for nine morning for anythng you may desire. It has never been known to
fail.

PRAYER TO ST. JOSEPH
Oh, St Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the
throne of God, I place in you all my interest and desires. Oh, St. Joseph,
do assist me by your powerful intercession, and obtain for me from your
divine Son all spiritual blessings, through Jesus Christ Our Lord. So that,
having
engaged here below your heavenly power, I may offer my thanksgiving and
homage to the most loving of Fathers. Oh, Saint Joseph, I never weary
comtemplating you and Jesus asleep in your arms; I dare not approach while He
reposes near your heart. Press Him in my name, and kiss His fine head for
me, and ask Him to return the kiss when I draw my dying breath. St. Joseph,
Patron of departing souls - pray for me.

For Those In The Armed Forces Of Our CountryAlmighty God, we commend to your gracious care and keeping all the men and
women of our armed forces at home and abroad. Defend them by day with your
heavenly grace; strengthen them in their trials and temptations; give them
courage to face the perils which beset them; and grant them a sense of your
abiding peace wherever they may be; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
A Mothers Prayer
Oh, Mother of Perpetual Help,
To thee I send my plea,
Look down upon my soldier son/daughter,
Take care of him/her for me.
And when he's/she's blue and sick at heart,
Discouraged and oppressed,
Give him/her the will to carry on,
In heavenly grace to rest.
Show unto him/her a Mother's love,
As Thou has shown to me.
Bring comfort to his/her lonely heart,
Is mine, his/her mother's plea
Prayer for those in active service
O God, watch over those exposed to the horrors of war and to the spiritual dangers of a soldier's, sailor's or airman's life. Give them a strong Faith, that no humas respect, may lead them to deny it, or fear to practice it. Do Thou by Thy grace, fortify them, against bad example, that, being preserved from evil and serving Thee faithfully, they may be ready to meet death whenever it may happen, through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, inspire them with sorrow for sin, and grant them pardon. Mother of God, be with them on the battlefield, and, if the should be called to make the supreme sacrifice, obtain for them that they may die in the grace of Thy Divine Son.
St. Joseph, pray for them.
May their guardian angels protect them.
