NEWS FLASH!!!!! THIS JUST IN FROM CNN....
Approximately 12,000 Army moms, led by a woman in combat boots named
Susan,
rallied today nationwide to show support for their sons and family
members in
the military. Each mom showed a video of their family member and told an
inspirational story of their soldiers' bravery, dedication, and love of
family and country while volunteering to enlist for poverty level wages.
Dateline confirmed each of these videos through reliable sources. Every
mom
was wearing a white T-shirt entitled "Proud Army Moms". Then each mom
jumped
out of a plane while signing "I want to be an Airborne Ranger" and
holding an
apple pie. Jane Pauley and Stone Phillips were challenged to make the
jump
along with the Army moms, but declined. CNN will follow this developing
story and will break in as news warrants..........

THIS JUST IN FROM CNN...........
This is Wolf Blizter reporting. I have recently spent a few days with the Proud Army Moms, an active internet support group for women with family members in the Army. I am exhausted. Here's what I have to report in this exclusive story. In just the past few days the PAMs have provided support for each other through upcoming surgeries, personal and job crises, and deployments; they have shared the job of their soldier's homecomings; they have commisserated with each other when their children have not been able to call hom; they have exchanged advice on very practical matters both relating to the military and civilian life; they have shared prayers, laughs, hugs, funny stories, they have embarrassed their soldiers by sharing the soldiers' childhood nicknames, bathroom problems and medical matters. I have also learned they have even picked each other or their soldiers up at airports; they have met in Las Vegas for lunch and are planning an Army Mom mini-convention
I have respectfully declined the Proud Army Moms' offer to jump out of a plane while singing a song about the Airborne Rangers and carrying an apple pie. These Proud Army Moms will do it in a heartbeat but I simply do not have the nerve or energy left after spending a few days with the PAMS
This is Wolf Blizter signing off..............and checking into a rest home.
